Currently in sunny sunny LA! Entertainment capital of the world! And that it is, very entertaining.

Spending my days writing, recording, and learning how to produce!

Yesterday I was on the set of a music video for a European artist named Gala. I was a PA and was able to see how everything works behind the scenes.

I had another amazing trip to Istanbul at the end of April. I met Deniz Erten, a well-known songwriter in Turkey, the last time I was there, and we had a great connection. We started e-mailing and skyping, and have been sending voice memos and lyrics back and forth ever since January. We recorded a bunch of songs while I was there last month!

My friends in Makeshift Innocence were in LA to kick off their tour, and Jesse and I filmed a lovely little beach video for our deut 'Summer's Kiss' that's on their album! You can check that duet out on itunes buy the way!! The whole album is amazing.

Istanbul, Turkey.

I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Istanbul for a week the last week of January. So random.. I know. I never imagined my first trip to Europe/Asia.. Eurasia.. overseas, would be to Turkey. I went there to do some work on a Romanian artists album. It was an incredible experience, I had the chance to do some writing and formed some beautiful friendships while I was there! Spent some time with an artist named Hadise, she’s, comparably, the Beyonce of Turkey. She’s a judge on ‘The Voice - Turkey’, so our group got to go watch a live taping of the show. Reality shows are very different to watch when you can’t actually understand any of the judges feedback.

I’m back in Toronto now, writing and enjoying the mild winter.

My birthday is this Saturday! This is my last day as a teenager.

I have an acoustic show at Slacks, February 16! Hope to see you there.
